
TOP launched its annual call for entries to their Amateur Photo Competition today with one of Ireland’s most photographed models, Nadia Forde.
TOP are particularly encouraging entrants from Clare, as one of last year’s winners, Mark Wankel, hails from the county. Mark’s picture ‘Surf’s Up!’ depicts the silhouette of a surfer, used with a sepia tone to create the feeling of a warmer climate.
“We’re really excited about this year’s photo competition, since we started the competition in 2006, we are continuously bowled over by the standard each year. We are looking for those people who might have taken a great photo during the year, send it in to us and be in with the chance to win a great prize as well as national recognition of your talent” said Martin Daly, Commercial Manager for TOP.
Photographers may enter as many photos as they like providing they were taken in Ireland and not previously entered into the TOP Calendar Competition.
The 12 winning photo’s will be published in TOP’s 2011 Calendar distributed to 50,000 homes and businesses in Ireland, with overall winner taking pride of place on the front cover.
