To celebrate the National Year of Craft, Ballymorris Pottery in southeast Clare is holding a One Day Event from 11am to 5pm on Sunday next (27th November).
The pottery will also be holding a special sale with reductions of up to 70% on selected pieces to clear the way for new work.
“Out with the old and in with the new”, said Hannah Arnup, as she talked of her excitement in clearing the way for new work now being developed.
Since Hannah established Ballymorris Pottery in 1994, it has gone from strength to strength, and is now an energetic and diverse business with a lovely studio, making renowned stoneware pottery. The business also incorporates a very popular pottery school, running not only classes but pottery parties and camps suitable for everyone.
“We have always worked directly with our customers creating unique and meaningful gifts and commemorative ceramic pieces, which gives the business a very personal touch”, says Hannah.
"Everyone is welcome to visit the working pottery this Sunday to see the work in progress, pick up a bargain, partake of complementary refreshments and participate in a prize draw on the day. Kids are welcome to play with clay and have a go creating their own masterpieces", she added.
The workshop and showroom at Ballymorris Pottery is just off the N18 with easy to follow signs. We are only 9 Km from Limerick and Shannon, and only 3 Km from Bunratty. A
