Some of County Clare and the West of Ireland’s most unique and inspiring landscapes are being profiled by a newly established business.

“Callan Picture Products”, which has been set up by Clare-based Photographer Sally Perkins, specialises in transforming photographs into inspiring canvas prints. Sally told The Clare Herald that her primary aim was to transform her photographs into “beautiful canvas prints using the magnificent light we have on the West Coast, and especially in County Clare.”

She added :” My interest in photography spans over 30 years and my love of the outdoors and fly fishing have taken me to some of the most wild and beautiful places in the Highlands of Scotland and West Coast of Ireland. Living in Clare has given me the platform to develop my skills with the camera and, with the support of the Clare Enterprise Board, I have been able to start my business, Callan Picture Products.”

“I am receiving some very exciting feedback from local people as well as the tourists. I have been attending craft fairs and markets and am currently exhibiting and selling some of my work at Tides in Ennistymon and Kenny’s Woollen Mills in Lahinch. I attend Munster Market most Sundays and Doolin Saturday Market and Craft Fair (June-August)”, Sally said.
