Ennis Fashion Awards Event Is Cancelled

The organisers of Ennis Fashion Fortnight have announced the cancellation of the festival’s finale following poor ticket sales.

The Ennis Fashion Awards had been scheduled to take place on Friday night but will now not go ahead.  Refunds are being provided to those who purchased tickets for the event, which was set to feature celebrities Brian Ormonde and Pippa O’Connor as adjudicators.

Ennis Fashion Fortnight, therefore, concludes this evening with the eagerly anticipated Autumn / Winter Collection Fashion Show 2010 at Sheils Showroom on the Gort Road in Ennis.  The event will feature Guest Designer Eilis Boyle, Top Irish Model Amber Jean Rowan and The Martina Costelloe Agency

The Fashion Show commences at 8:00pm. Tickets €30.00 are available from Ennis Chamber of Commerce, O’Connell Street, Ennis and The Irish Shop Lower Market Street, Ennis.

The festival has been an outstanding success for organisers with many events selling out, including the 'Real Clothes For Real People' fashion show at The Cloister on Thursday last.
