Last night (8th November) saw the first instalment of a new six part wildlife documentary series, entitled "Ag Dul in Éag" or "Dying Out", broadcast on TG4.
The series, which was produced by Clare based film company Waxwing Wildlife Productions, explores Irish species in peril and the reasons why others are no longer in existence in this country.
It is transmitted by TG4 each Tuesday at 8.00pm.
Last night’s programme dealt with the loss of the majestic Crane and the Wild Boar.
