Clare Property Prices Show Further Decline

Property prices in Clare are continuing to fall according to the latest Property Barometer from Myhome.ie.
3 bedroom semi detached properties in County Clare devalued by 4.76% to €190,000 in the third quarter of 2010.
The value of 2 bedroom apartments fell by over 5% while the value of 4 bedroom semi detached homes in the County dropped by 4.03%.
Nationally property prices fell 3.9% in the third quarter, bringing the fall for the year to date to 11%/. The latest fall brings the total decline from the peak of the market in late 2006 to almost 32.4%.
Angela Keegan, Managing Director of MyHome.ie said the survey showed prices were continuing to decline, albeit at a lower rate compared to the same period last year.
