Aer Rianta International Confirms Departure Of Respected Buyer

One of Aer Rianta International’s (ARI) key buyers is set to leave the company.

Martin Waldron, who held a number of key retail and buying roles during his 20-year career at ARI, took up a position in ARI’s Head Office in Shannon in 1996 after spending time in Russia where he was a key figure in the establishment of ARI's first duty free border shop.

In recent years, he has been centrally involved in the development of Terminals 1 and 2 at Dublin Airport.

It is understood that Mr. Waldron will leave his position at ARI to pursue professional business interests.
