Cabin crew unions at Aer Lingus have been given until April 10th to agree to cost cutting measures at the airline.
The national carrier today indicated that if no resolution is found to the cabin crew dispute with 22 days, the airline will begin implementing the Eur97 cost-cutting plans announced last week. Aer Lingus management met with the Labour Relations Commission for two hours this morning, during which the company informed the Commission of its plans to cut costs.
Four groups of staff have accepted the plan, but it was rejected by a large majority of cabin crew who belong to the Impact union.
