Fergus Rovers And Liscannor Do Battle In Senior B Final

Fergus Rovers will take on Liscannor this Sunday in the Senior B final which will be played before the Senior A final between The Banner Ladies and West Clare Gaels.
Not so long ago the 'Rovers were contesting and winning senior titles for fun. Although they still have a few players remaining from their last title which was won back in 2000, this team is a youthful side with the likes of Lorriane Kelly, Aine Kelly, Orla Griffin, Cliona Cleary and Clodagh McNeilis in their ranks.
Liscannor came up from Intermediate ranks last year and have important players in Anna O'Connor, Carmel and Marie Considine, Leona Murphy and Aine Greene. It promises to be a close contest with Fergus Rovers maybe just shading it.
