Semi-final Draw For The Clare Intermediate Football Championship

In the Intermediate football championship Clondegad saw off the challenge of neighbours Kildysart in group 1 by 2-10 to 0-6 with the free scoring Paudge McMahon (1-4) and Shane Brennan getting the goals. 

Ger Kelly accounted for all of the Kildysart scores.

The other game in this group saw Ballyvaughan receive a walkover from Clooney-Quin. Meanwhile in group 2 Corofin defeated Kilmurry Ibrickane by 0-11 to 1-6. Corofin had their forwards on song with five of the starting six getting on the scoresheet including Diarmuid Daly and Darren Malone (0-3 each). Clare minor Niall Hickey got the Kilmurry Ibrickane goal.

The other game in group 2 saw table toppers St. Breckan’s receive a walkover from O’Callaghan’s Mills. The Mills and Clooney-Quin will now play each other in a relegation play-off to see who drops down to Junior A.
