Kilfenora Overcome Townies To Take Junior A Title

Kilfenora defeated Eire Og in a low scoring affair at Miltown Malbay today in the final of the Clare Junior A Football Championship.
On their second attempt in as many years, the North Clare men clinched the title with a 1-6 to 1-1 win over the Townies.
Kilfenora justified their tags as favourites despite the best efforts of an Eire Og with a blend of experience and youth in their side including Robert Ford, Robbie Malone, Graham Glynn, Paul Crehan, Mark Fitzgerald and David Ryan.
