Kilkee And Cooraclare Contest Junior B Final

The Junior B footballers of St. Senan's, Kilkee and Cooraclare will battle it out this Sunday in Doonbeg (throw in @ 1:30pm) to decide where the junior B cup goes.

Earlier in the summer Cooraclare had the assistance of Kilkee players for the Under 21 football championship and it is expected a few of those involved on that team will be in opposition to each other come Sunday.

In their respective semi finals both teams had testing game recording narrow victories, Kilkee saw off the challenge of Kildysart while the Milesians defeated Kilmurry-Ibrickane. Key men for the Seasiders are Luke Fitzgerald, Brian Comyns, Kieran DeLoughrey, Trevor Clancy, John Garvey and Brian Harte.

Cooraclare meanwhile will look to Joe Kelly, John Considine, John Joe McMahon, Joe Garry, Pat Mescall and Michael Chambers.

Both teams are here on merit and it makes for an interesting game between two evenly matched sides, it is a hard one to call but come the full time whistle Kilkee might be in front.
