Crusheen are through to the Munster Senior Club Hurling final after an impressive 6-point victory of Cork County Champions Carrigtwohill on Sunday.
Despite trailing 0-8 to 0-6 at half time, the Clare champions put in a sterling second half performance at Pairc Ui Chaoimh to see off Carrigtwohill by 0-19 to 1-10.
Crusheen’s defence and three points each from David Forde, Jamie Fitzgibbon and Patrick Meaney proved the difference between the two sides.
Crusheen now go on to play Na Piarsaigh of Limerick who beat Ballygunner (Waterford) by
3-9 to 0-12 at Walsh Park.
Next weekend, the Clare football champions Kilmurry Ibrickane will be bidding to reach the Munster final when the play Dr. Crokes of Kerry. The game throws in at 2:00 pm on Sunday.
Crusheen play Na Piarsaigh on 27 November.
