Maurice Kelly Wins Irish Seniors' Amateur Open Championship

Maurice Kelly of Killeen Golf Club in County Kildare has won the Irish Seniors' Amateur Open Championship at Castletroy Golf Club.

Kelly carded a 73 today to leave himself one shot ahead of Arthur Pierse of Tipperary GC, who won the Munster Seniors Amateur Open Championship at Limerick Golf Club on May 12th last.

Overnight join leader Adrian Morrow of Portmanock carded an 80 today meaning he finished 7 shots off the pace.

JD Smith of Lahinch GC failed to qualify for the final day despite carding an 81 yesterday.
